Hi, i am on opensuse 11.1 and have the same problems with HDMI Audio, only startup and shutdown sounds from KDE, no other sounds. Can anyone help me? (Driver version 1.24 from opensuse)

Well one of the first things I would do it try to compile version 1.3, 1.24 is nearly a year old now.

Source is from a DVD that I ripped to my hard drive, it is not 1080P. My CPU is an AMD 6000+; dual core 3.1GHZ. I don't think that the cpu is the problem. I am also seeing this scrolling effect in watching video streams as well.

Well your right with that CPU, you should have no problems decoding. Can you check what your CPU is doing, using top or System Monitor whilst video is playing. Is one core saturated (or both).

Hi, I followed the instructions, but when I go to play a movie, it plays 1 frame at a time very slowly any suggestions?

What resolution is your video source? If it's HD (Especially 1080p) then this is most likely because you machine doesn't have enough CPU power to decode HD streams. If this is the case then unfortunately until AMD release the Catalyst drivers with XvBA (Hardware decoding of HD streams on your HD3200) then you are going to see this problem.

I loose the edges of my screen all the way round so I cannot see any of the task bars

This is usually to do with the zoom mode of your TV. It should be set to Just Scan or 1:1 mapping, once you have done that it should be fine.

I tried this driver because when running the FGLRX driver I had black bars all the way round the screen running at the correct resolution. And now after installing this driver I am having the opposite problem I loose the edges of my screen all the way round so I cannot see any of the task bars I'm running at the correct resolution (1920x1080) any ideas of how to fix this?
