Very good site, especially for the components you can't get for the Omaura suppliers!

Yes, that was one that I looked at. Thought the M2-ATX is most efficient at 15v-16v input, so I was trying to find one which supplied 7.5A @ 16v but I can't seem to find one.

Thanks for the link, definitively one for consideration (when it's in stock :) )

Have you looked at the Morex 150w? PDB-150-R

Would be interesting if the power brick was sold on it's own, since I already have the DC-DC M2-ATX board. From looking at the picture I think power brick has a 4 pin jack, unlike the standard 2.5mm DC jack that I have

I am also looking for a AC Adapter 16v 7.5a 120 watts to go with the M2-ATX. All i could find online is a IBM AC adaptor, but that has a 4 pin plug. Will it work with a M2-ATX?

The 4 pin power bricks typically carry +12 and +5 rails. You could cut the end off and tap into the +12 to supply the M2-ATX, but I imagine the 120W quoted for the IBM power brick is the +12 and +5 rails combined, so you wont have the necessary power. Some of the 4 pin bricks do supply 2 +12 rails, which you can combine, but unless the voltage of the rails are spot on the same as each other, they will fight each other to regulate 12v wasting most of their power on regulating each other, rather than supplying the M2-ATX.

Nice site to stumble across btw. Looks like I am not the only one working on a similar project. I know this is not much help for you, but one post mentions the Morex 150w? PDB-150-R...

Where can you buy the PDB150R in the UK?

I couldn't find anywhere in the UK which supplied the kit, which is why I choose the M2-ATX. It's an identical PSU (+10W extra) to the Morex one. The only problem you have, is that you need to get all the parts (Power brick, and 12v connector) separate.
